The 2 paintings below belong to the Highlands of Scotland with their brooding skies and distant horizons. The sun is always just too far off to see directly but you know it is there, sitting in the background and creating beautiful dusk like shades of light.
The third painting here is slightly different – more definitely winter. The sun is just a faint light behind the distant trees. Each of these paintings can be added as products in my store if anyone might like to purchase one – just ask.
And finally a look at woodland from another (warmer) part of the world. This painting was inspired by my trips around Italy a few years ago. Nice lush and textured.
