When I was younger I have to admit a soft spot for Botticelli! – How could any artist alive be not inspired in some way by the artists or the art created by the renaissance, whether your a follower of the Italian greats or those who pioneered the same movement in other countries like Durer , there is always much to be said about the art of this time and so much more to be gained by allowing yourself to be inspired by it whether you seek to replicate it or alter it.

By throwing a sponge soaked with different colors at a wall one can make a spot in which a beautiful landscape can be seen.
